Today I Choose with Melissa Bingham Conversations

EPISODE #56

Choreography, Poetry, and Peacocks with Jess Coffman

The choreography of poetry

In today’s episode, I’m excited to share a conversation with my friend, Jess Coffman. Jess is an entertainer, choreographer, songwriter, poet, marathon runner and published author. She has toured singing and dancing nationally and internationally. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Industry Studies from California State University Northridge, and during that time completed internships at both Capitol Records in the Marketing Department and Paramount Studios in the Film Music Department. Jess recently published an original book of poetry entitled, In Pursuit of Peacocks: a compilation of poetry and lyrics, and has created The In Pursuit of Peacocks Live show which includes: original songs and music, tap dancing, dance/poetry collaborations and spoken word. We’re going to cover everything from intentional living to having the communication chops to have hard conversations. Enjoy!
